At Iniquitous, we are a huge fan of using Joomla for website development. It is such a great open source tool and is very SEO friendly. If you are looking to develop your own website, I recommend checking out Joomla and all the free extensions that are out there!

Hey Nick,

How's it going?

Does Joomla work on Windows IIS or is it written specically for Linux / Apache?

I've had a dabble in the past, in fact worked on a third party project that used it but I have never set out to build a project from scratch using it.

Cheers
Ian

I am also a huge fan of Joomla! I am a graphic designer and I like how easy it is to edit and move things around

Ian,
I haven't had any experience on Windows so I can't answer that question. I do know it was written for Linux/Apache and that is how we use it. I am guessing you could make it work for Windows IIS with some work but why...

Now that we have invested sometime working with Joomla, we have been able to complete projects in no time! Joomla provides a great CMS and has turned out to be very Search Engine friendly
